| Got a shielded wire that has been shaved down and wondered if I could just cut it and use a standard wire coupler. This is one of the wires that has wire inside of it and wire on the outside of the inner wire. So from the inside out.....small gauge wire that is shielded with plastic, then there is a small amount of wire shielding on the outside and then it is all encased in a final plastic sleeving. Is it repairable via splicing it as a whole and just coupling it back up? or do I need to purchase another new harness for one stupid wire????
